RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Trey Kell had 17 points and a career-best 10 rebounds for his first career double-double and San Diego State rallied past Nevada 57-54 Tuesday night to tie a Mountain West record with its seventh straight conference road win.

Nevada led by seven points with six minutes left until Winston Shepard tipped in his own miss, Jeremy Hemsley went coast-to-coast for a layup and Kell made a scoop shot after grabbing an offensive rebound to pull San Diego State within 51-50 with 4:17 left.

Shepard hit two from the stripe to take a 52-51 lead -- its first advantage since 22-21 -- and Kell made a 3 after a nice give-and-go to extend the Aztecs' lead to 55-51 with 1:45 left.

Freshman Zylan Cheatham connected on two free throws with 2.1 seconds left for a three-point lead and Nevada missed a shot at the buzzer.
