The Montreal Canadiens come calling on the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night with a team that is paying the Price and getting rewarded for it.
The Price they are paying is Carey Price as the Canadiens let Jaroslav Halak go off to St. Louis even though Halak was lights out during the playoffs. With that decision the amount of pressure on the young goaltender, that is already high being in Montreal, went through the roof. Price has answered the call though 6-3-1 record and a 2.38 goals against average.
The play in front of him has certainly not hurt his cause as the Canadiens are sixth in the league when it comes to giving up shots. One way to limit shots is to sacrifice your body and never let them get to the net. 6'7
