Sabans RSVP to random Alabama fan's wedding invite with warm wishes and 'Roll Tide'
“When going over my list for the wedding, I daydreamed and got off topic by thinking about who I could invite that could be a part of my ‘A-list,'” Marriott, a 2011 University of Alabama graduate, told Yellowhammer News. “I mean, who wouldn’t want Nick Saban at their wedding?"
"I am sure I could have found his address, but I thought that might be a little creepy," Marriott said of her probably prudent decision to send it to the athletic department instead. "I opened [the response] and was shocked!"
In addition to the Sabans, Marriott, who is marrying a Tennessee fan, invited Peyton Manning, as well as Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake.
“It really shows what great people Terry and Nick are,” Marriott said. “It was probably just something small and meaningless for them, but it is something I will cherish forever and helps make my wedding process so special."
