Jake Newberry
The Kansas City Royals reinstated pitcher Jake Newberry from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Newberry has been out since Aug. 22 because of right shoulder inflammation.
The right-hander is 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 28 innings spanning 24 appearances this season.
