Robert Nkemdiche, 2013's top-rated recruit, has committed to Clemson University, Chad Simmons is reporting.
Nkemdiche, a 6-4, 270 lb DL from Loganville, Georgia, chose Clemson over Alabama and LSU.
Nkemdiche has the size to play defensive tackle and the speed to play defensive end. He has also shown to be effective in both stopping the run and rushing the quarterback. It remains to be seen what position he will play for the Tigers.
Nkemdiche was visiting Clemson when rumors broke that he would be committing to the Tigers, and reports eventually came in that Nkemdiche would be playing for Dabo Swinney.
