Jeremy Shockey's ex-wife Daniela Cortazar-Shockey isn't a happy woman right now. TMZ is reporting that Daniela — who was married to the former NFL star for just eight months — wants a judge to either fine Shockey or throw him in jail. But why? The former couple have been fighting over alimony. Shockey claims to have a solid prenup, but Daniela says that Shockey isn't being honest and is claiming to know nothing about his finances. Apparently, he's also saying that he doesn't know how his bills get paid and is refusing to hand over any financial documents. Oh boy. To be honest, it's not that surprising to hear that an athlete doesn't know about his/her finances. They usually leave that business up their agents/business managers/accountants. You can't live the high life if you're at home with a calculator. However, Shockey better start taking things seriously, because his ex-wife is claiming that he's worth $15 million and is playing dumb to "strong arm" her into dropping the case. Questions? Comments?
