Report: Claiborne has pins removed from wrist

Morris Claiborne had a procedure Wednesday to remove pins from his surgically repaired wrist, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Claiborne underwent surgery in March to repair ligament damage to his left wrist suffered last November in a game against SEC rival Alabama.

The Morning News reports that Claiborne will miss the Cowboys' upcoming organized team activities.

Claiborne will now wear a soft cast. The team does not expect the injury to be a long-term issue.

On draft night, Claiborne said he would be 100 percent by training camp.
