The Jacksonville Jaguars plan to unveil the NFL"s largest video screens by 2014, and there's talk of showing the RedZone Channel on them during games.
Jaguars president Mark Lamping told SportsBusiness Journal a portion of the 16,626 square feet of video-board space at EverBank Field could be used to show the most compelling action of league games being played elsewhere.
"We know this would be welcomed by the large portion of our fans who are transplants to Jacksonville, as well as all fantasy football enthusiasts," Lamping told SportsBusiness Journal.
"Because the boards are so big we don’t need mirror images at each end because they are in view of most fans. Some content will remain the same such as time of game, down and distance and replays."
Fans attending games undoubtedly would like to see key moments from other games, but would showing the RedZone Channel prompt people to trade their home or bar for a seat at the stadium?
Perhaps the NFL wants to find out the answer.
