A scary moment for one of the Cincinnati Reds' future stars took place last night.
According to a report from MLB.com, Billy Hamilton was approached by two men late Monday night. One of the men brandished a handgun and robbed Hamilton and a friend.
Around the same time, one of the umpires for the California-Carolina League All-Star Game that Hamilton was playing in was also robbed, supposedly by the same men.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the incident.
Hamilton went on to be named MVP of the All-Star Game the following night.
