ST. LOUIS -- At least 27 Billikens basketball games will appear on television this season, including 16 on national networks and 11 regional telecasts on FOX Sports Midwest.
Saint Louis University released the complete television package for Billikens men's basketball Thursday.
"We are thrilled to offer a record number of SLU broadcasts to the loyal Billiken basketball and St. Louis sports fans," said Chris May, SLU's athletic director. "FOX Sports Midwest is a leader in sports coverage in the St. Louis and Midwest regions, so we are proud to once again partner with them to offer a very robust regional package.
"Clearly, the added number of national telecasts speaks volumes to what our program has accomplished and where it is headed."
Billikens coach Jim Crews welcomes the expanded television package.
"The added exposure is great for our program," Crews said. "We have been very well received during recruiting, and part of that is directly due to our games being seen by more and more people on the national and local levels."
"We're excited to televise our biggest Billikens TV schedule in more than a decade," said Jack Donovan, FOX Sports Midwest general manager and senior vice president. "The Saint Louis University program is on the rise, poised for another big season after last year's A-10 championship run."
