PHOENIX -- The Arizona Rattlers extended their winning streak to seven games with a 56-25 victory over the Cedar Rapids Titans on Sunday in the final regular season home game of the 2017 season. The Rattlers (11-4) will be back at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday, June 24, to host the Intense Conference championship game against Nebraska or Spokane.

"Our guys are playing tough," Arizona coach Kevin Guy said. "I am really proud of our youth and putting ourselves in a position to play for a championship."

Ketrich Harmon ran for 73 yards on 12 carries and scored three touchdowns. Quarterback Cody Sokol went 5 for 9 for 43 yards and two scores.

Allen Chapman led the Rattlers defense with two interceptions, two pass breakups and eight tackles. Arizona allowed only 37 yards rushing and recorded three sacks.

"We are a physical football team," Guy said. "When you pressure them up front, and you pressure them in back, good things are going to happen."

Said Chapman: "Our coach has been preaching all year. Pressure-pick-cover-sack. That is what we try to incorporate in our defense.”"

The Rattlers put the game away with four second-quarter touchdowns to take a 35-13 leaxd at the half. Sokol threw touchdown passes to Darrel Monroe and Anthony Amos, and they got rushing touchdowns from Harmon and Jamal Miles.

Monroe, Miles and Harmon each scored again in the second half as the Rattlers closed out the victory in front of 13,251 fans.

The Rattlers close out their regular season in Fort Collins, Colo., on Friday against the Colorado Crush (3-12).
