Rangers release ticket details for season

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 2:04 p.m. ET

Individual game tickets for Texas Rangers games will go on sale Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. but fans who attend Fan Fest Jan. 24 will be able to buy them early.

Fan Fest attendees will have a chance to buy tickets for all home games (with the exception of Opening Day) more than a month before they go sale.

The club will once again offer fans a chance to get tickets for Opening Day online through a random draw. Beginning at 9 a.m. Feb. 2 fans can go to texasrangers.com/presale and register for a chance to buy two tickets for the April 10 game against Houston. The winners will be chosen at random and notified no later than that Feb. 23.

First pitch for the home opener at Globe Life Park is set for 3:05 p.m.

Fans can also guarantee themselves a ticket for Opening Day by buying a 10-game plan, which also includes a free ticket to the Astros games. Those packages went on sale Wednesday.

The club is also using dynamic ticket pricing for the second-straight year in all individual seating categories. Prices will be adjusted higher or lower based on real-time market demand and other factors.

As for ticket prices for the season, most remained the same from the 2014 seasons. Two sections in the Lexus Club went up $1 for gate and $2 for premier games but another seating area in that section dropped $1 and $2.

Briefly

•  Regular home games will once again start at 7:05 for night games with weekday games at 1:05 p.m. and Sunday games at 2:05 p.m.
