ARLINGTON, Texas - The Texas Rangers added some bench depth Sunday, recalling outfielder Daniel Robertson from Round Rock and sending right-hander Miles Mikolas back to Triple A.
Mikolas, who was called up last Wednesday, didn't make an appearance with the Rangers during his stint with the club.
Robertson batted .182 in his two-week stint with the Rangers earlier this year.
The Rangers needed another bench bat with Prince Fielder unable to play until at least Tuesday. The move leaves the Rangers with seven relievers.
