ST. LOUIS -- Rams punter Johnny Hekker and kicker Greg Zuerlein have arrived. For that, they can thank those masters of the trick-shot video, Dude Perfect.
A YouTube sensation, Dude Perfect spent a couple of days at Rams park with the Rams' special team standouts last month and the result is a video of precision punts and unbelievable kicks and that will leave you scratching your head. Is that for real?
The kicks are real. They have the missed attempts to prove it.
According to the Rams.com, the team approached Dude Perfect about doing their first video of trick kicks with an NFL team.
"We think the unique skills that our punter, Johnny Hekker and our kicker, Greg Zuerlein displayed in the video will definitely surprise some people and inspire them to try their own kicking trick shots," Rams marketing VP Brian Killingsworth told the team's web site.
Long snapper Jake McQuaide even got in on the show, though the highlight of the 6 minute, 59-second video was provided by Zuerlein. Kicking from 60 yards, Hekker boots the football through the uprights and off a backboard through the hoop.
