Quarterback Casey Pachall, who left the TCU football team during the season to enter a substance abuse facility, is back at TCU.
Pachall, who was arrested in October for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, has re-enrolled at TCU and is once again part of the football program the school confirmed Sunday.
Classes at TCU begin Monday and Pachall will begin working out with the team.
Pachall will have a year of eligibility remaining this fall and could provide TCU a lift at quarterback.
Pachall played in the first four games for TCU in 2012, throwing 10 touchdown passes and leading TCU to a 4-0 start. Following his arrest and an indefinite suspension, he was replaced by redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin and TCU went 3-5 with Boykin as the starter.
Before Pachall's arrest, TCU considered moving Boykin to tailback because of injuries.
Pachall had a big sophomore season after taking over for Andy Dalton, setting school records for completions and passing yards to go along with 25 touchdown passes.
