Undrafted rookie free agent Pierre Warren is getting another shot of living his NFL dream, after his stellar training camp performance enticed the New Orleans Saints to include the safety out of Jacksonville State on their 10-man practice squad.

Warren came up with some big plays during camp and during the Saints pre season performances, including a spectacular interception during the clash with the Ravens. Warren picked off Baltimore quarterback Tyrod Taylor deep early on for the Saint's first and only takeaway of the game, while Champ Bailey looked on tellingly from close proximity.

Warren says he has certainly progressed this preseason, but not nearly as much as he intends to grow in the next few months.

"I'd say a little bit, not tremendously," Warren said when asked to describe his progress. "I still fell like have a lot more work to do, especially with my physicality - being more physical."

In all Warren wrapped up his preseason with the Black and Gold totalibenng 10 tackles (seven solo), one interception, two passes defensed and one special teams stop.

The Deatsville, Alabama native attended Marbury High School, which is just down the road from where former Saints Super Bowl safety Roman Harper prepped at Prattville High. Harper is now with the Carolina Panthers.

The Saints Practice Squad looks like this:

Safety Pierre Warren

Wide Receiver Brandon Coleman

Wide Receiver Seantavius Jones

Linebacker Todd Davis

Cornerback Terrence Frederick

Cornerback Trevino Wade

Tight End Nick Jacobs

Guard Antoine McClain

Tackle Tavon Rooks
