Grammy and Emmy Award-winning singer, pianist and bandleader Harry Connick Jr. helped the New Orleans Pelicans kick off their inaugural season Wednesday night with a creative game open, much to fans' delight. Connick, a New Orleans native and upcoming judge on American Idol, entertained and critiqued some interesting audition tapes from the Pelicans players just before they tipped off at home against the Indiana Pacers.
