SUNRISE, Fla - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced today that 50 players (26 forwards, 17 defensemen, 7 goaltenders) will attend the club's training camp which will open with medical and physical testing onThursday, Sept. 22. The Panthers will hold their first on-ice practice of training camp on Friday, Sept. 23, beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, FL.

Florida will open the preseason against the Nashville Predators with a doubleheader at the BB&T Center on Sept. 27. Games will take place at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.During the preseason, the Panthers will play two neutral site games, facing Dallas onOct. 2 at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario (3:00 p.m. EST) before closing the preseason against New Jersey on Oct. 8 at Tate Rink at the United States Military Academy at West Point (7:00 p.m. EST). The game at West Point will be broadcast on FOX Sports Florida.
