Pacers send Christmas to Mad Ants for a tuneup

Indiana Pacers big man Rakeem Christmas is heading to Fort Wayne.

On Sunday, the Pacers assigned Christmas to the Mad Ants, the team's D-League affiliate.

Christmas has been back and forth between the Mad Ants' starting lineup and the Pacers' bench all season. In limited action with the Pacers this season, Christmas has scored 1.3 points per game in six games, averaging 3.3 minutes a game.

The Pacers take on the San Antonio Spurs on Monday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
