Pacers assign Rakeem Christmas To Mad Ants

Rakeem Christmas hasn't been playing much with the Pacers, but he'll be seeing more of the court shortly.

The Pacers announced Thursday they have assigned the 6-foot-9 forward to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, their affiliate in the NBA's Development League.

Christmas has played in one of the Pacers' first 12 games, logging one rebound, one assist, one foul and one missed shot in six minutes.

The Mad Ants' schedule kicks in Sunday after an eight-game gap between their Nov. 12 opener and their next game. Christmas figures to get consistent playing time in the D-League, as opposed to his situation on the bench in Indy.
