How's this for an early highlight of the 2011-12 college basketball season? Duke will play at Ohio State on Nov. 29.

It's the marquee game of the first night of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The conferences made the announcement of the finalized schedule Tuesday.

Both teams were No. 1 seeds in last year's NCAA Tournament and both should be top 10 teams — if not top five — in the early polls for next season. Ohio State returns Jared Sullinger, William Buford and Aaron Craft. Duke adds freshman point guard Austin Rivers to three returning starters and should be one of the nation's highest-scoring teams next winter.

"It is a great honor to be selected to play what I consider one of the premier programs in the country in Duke University," Ohio State coach Thad Matta said in a statement. "I have great respect for Coach Krzyzewski and his many accomplishments. I'm looking forward to our fans being a part of such a great game here is Columbus."

Ohio State and Duke have not met since the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in 2002. Duke leads the all-time series, 3-2.
