DALLAS - Ohio State won the national championship Monday night, and there was quite a celebration.

Kerry Coombs really celebrated.

Coombs, Ohio State's cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator, is a colorful, fiery guy. The video shows he was celebrating like a madman on the AT&T Stadium field.

Coombs has 33 years of coaching experience, all in Southwest Ohio before he came to Ohio State. He was head coach of Cincinnati Colerain's 2004 Ohio big-school state championship team, then an assistant at the University of Cincinnati from 2007-11 before joining Meyer at Ohio State.

He came to Ohio State for the chance to coach a national championship team.

That came to fruition Monday night. And Coombs celebrated.
