Oklahoma CB Sanchez named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

Oklahoma junior cornerback Zack Sanchez was the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week after his six tackles and interception helped Oklahoma beat Tennessee 31-24 in double overtime.



Sanchez's interception in the second overtime on a third-and-12 play after OU had scored, ended the game.



Sanchez has started every game in his career at OU, 28 in a row, and has nine tackles so far through two games this season.
