Nyquist draws post three, tabbed at 3-5 for Preakness Stakes

Post positions were drawn Wednesday for the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Thoroughbred Triple Crown.

Kentucky Derby champ Nyquist drew post three and was made the 3-5 morning-line favorite. In all, a field of 11 3-year-olds will vie over the mile and 3/16 distance at Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course.

Exaggerator, winner of the Santa Anita Derby and Kentucky Derby runner-up, was tabbed as the second choice at 3-1 from post five.

The forecast for Saturday currently calls for rain, which could play into Exaggerator's favor, as his romp in the Santa Anita Derby was over a wet strip.
