ROCKINGHAM, NC: Maurice Petty (C), Richard's brother and engine builder, accepts a mechanic's award from Ingersoll Rand. Richard (R) looks on.

In honor of Movember, we're taking a look back at some of the best NASCAR 'staches and facial hair of all-time and some others that, well, wouldn't exactly qualifying for the Facial Hall of Fame.

While Maurice Petty's full-face beard may not qualify for the Facial Hall of Fame, his untamed facial locks will forever be enshrined in the NASCAR Hall of Fame

An integral part of Petty Enterprise's success, Maurice was the chief mechanic and engine builder for the famed organization. The younger brother of Richard Petty, Maurice will be the fourth Petty family member honored by the NASCAR Hall of Fame when he is inducted in 2014.

While Richard was more of a household name -- both for his on-track success and his iconic mustache -- Maurice was a force to be reckoned with in the NASCAR garage. When being announced as a member of the 2014 induction class, Brian France said Maurice was "undoubtedly, the finest man to turn a wrench in the history of NASCAR."

We tend to think he was also one of the finest men to wear a wild beard in the history of NASCAR as well.
