Muschamp opens up on UGA-UF rivalry

The Georgia-Florida rivalry has been mislabeled.

Will Muschamp will not stand for such atrocities from mistaken reporters or opposing coaches, correcting and subtly chastising from the podium at SEC Media Days, much to the delight of attending media. Florida’s head coach spoke for about 40 minutes Wednesday morning -- possibly breathing a total of 10 times -- and he saved some rivalry zingers for the end.
Much has been made about the formerly (yet aptly) named World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party being held in Jacksonville over the years, usually from the Bulldog faithful who feel slighted that their team must travel farther to play in the annual affair.
Athens is 300 miles away. Gainesville is 75 miles away -- at most.
Big deal, says the Gators’ quick-talking leader.
The subtle nature of the shot was at Mark Richt, who has alluded to an advantage being held by Florida. Richt holds a 3-8 record against the Gators. However, he is undefeated against Muschamp.
Here’s hoping for a rebuttal during Georgia’s Thursday session.
