Tired of hearing Jerry Jones talk about following the blueprint the New York Giants used to win the Super Bowl last season?

Well, he did it again Tuesday when discussing injuries.

With the Cowboys entering a favorable part of their schedule (the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only opponent remaining that has a winning record), the Cowboys owner and general manager noted the importance of getting some key players healthy, something that helped the Giants make their run.

"I think that we have a chance to be healthier as we go into these last seven games," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. "That's very important. New York got healthy last year. I keep using the Giants (as an example). I know I get criticized for it but I want to use them anyway because they got healthy near the end."

DeMarco Murray, Felix Jones and Miles Austin were the players that Jones specifically mentioned.

"Miles Austin's getting better," Jerry Jones said. "You're seeing what Felix Jones (can do) now that he's really feeling good in his health. You're reluctant to say it because the next play it could change. Still, our health should help us."

Austin has frequently battled hamstring issues and Felix Jones is recovering from shoulder and knee injuries.

In regards to Murray, Jerry Jones said he didn't know if the second-year running back would return Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Murray has missed the last four games with a sprained left foot.

The last thing the Cowboys want to do is bring Murray back too soon.

"We've got to look down the road here," Jerry Jones said. "We hope we're in this thing and needing him on every play as we move forward even beyond Cleveland."
