Mitch Haniger, Josh Taylor win minor-league honors for July

Triple-A Reno outfielder Mitch Haniger and Double-A Mobile left-handed pitcher Josh Taylor were named the Diamondbacks' minor league player and pitcher of the month for July.

Haniger, 25, hit .402 (45 for 112) with 13 doubles, 11 home runs and 35 RBI in 28 games, amassing an .830 slugging percentage and an OPS of 1.279.

Taylor, 23, went 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA over 30 2/3 innings in five starts after being promoted to Mobile from Visalia on July 5. He struck out 22 and walked four.
