NEW YORK (AP) Miss Da Point beat the double team of Carameaway and Dreaming of Cara in the $62,000 allowance feature in the mud at Aqueduct on Monday.
The Mitchell Friedman-trained entry was the even-money favorite in the race for New York-bred fillies and mares. They settled for second and third as Miss Da Point took charge at the top of lane en route to a 3 1/4-length victory, her eighth in 23 starts.
Emmanuel Esquivel was aboard for trainer John Toscano, Jr. as the 4-year-old chestnut ran the mile in 1:40.28.
The 3-1 second choice, Miss Da Point paid $8.90, $3.40 and $2.90. Carameaway got the place spot as the entry returned $2.50 and $2.30.
