Michigan offensive lineman Graham Glasgow suspended indefinitely

Offensive lineman Graham Glasgow has been indefinitely suspended by Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh after violating his probation from a 2014 drunk-driving arrest.

Last June, Glasgow pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was sentenced to one year of probation. One of the conditions was that he not consume alcohol, and he was required to periodic tests.

On Sunday, he blew a .086 on a Breathalyzer test, violating the terms of his probation and earning the suspension.

"We have been made aware of Graham's probation violation, and he has been suspended," Harbaugh said in a statement. "Graham will be subject to punishment through the judicial system, the student-athlete alcohol policy, and the Michigan football program."

The suspension comes only a few days after Harbaugh had praised Glasgow, who had stepped into the starting center role after the surprise retirement of fifth-year senior Jack Miller.

This is the second year in a row that Glasgow will miss a significant part of spring camp, as he was suspended by Brady Hoke after the original arrest. He was also benched for Michigan's season opener against Appalachian State.
