Mercury bring back Krystal Thomas

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Mercury have re-signed 6-5 center Krystal Thomas.

Thomas played for the Mercury for the final 11 games of the 2011 season and the playoffs but was waived on May 16, the final day of 2012 training camp. She fills the roster opening created when Zane Tamane was released on Friday.

The Mercury is 1-2 and returns to action on Thursday to battle the Atlanta Dream. The game will be televised on FOX sporst Arizona, starting at 4 p.m.
