John Roberts, in his 15th year with the FOX Sports family, co-hosts NASCAR RACE HUB on FOX Sports 1, the network's daily news and update program, continuing in a role he assumed in 2014. In recent years, Roberts was the longtime host of NASCAR RACEDAY and NASCAR VICTORY LANE for FOX Sports 1, the network's pre- and post-race shows for the NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES. He also hosted NASCAR LIVE, offering up-to-the-minute updates throughout race weekends, for years.

Roberts' tenure with FOX Sports began when he was tabbed to host NASCAR THIS MORNING, NASCAR RACEDAY's predecessor on FOX Sports Net, in 2001. Roberts also has hosted special NASCAR programming on FOX Sports 1, such as Daytona preseason testing and NASCAR SPRINT ALL-STAR RACE prerace festivities. He also has served as play-by-play announcer for NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES and NASCAR XFINITY SERIES practice and qualifying sessions on FOX Sports 1.

Prior to joining FOX, Roberts worked as a sports anchor in Charlotte, N.C., Lynchburg, Va., Roanoke, Va., Richmond, Va., Spartanburg, S.C., and Harrisonburg, Va.

A little known fact is the former basketball player supplemented his television income years ago by operating a construction and landscaping business in Charlotte, and was the craftsman behind the Adirondack chairs used for years on the Lake Lloyd "beach set" during SPEED's broadcasts from the infield at Daytona International Speedway.

The Washington, D.C. native co-authored The Great Book of NASCAR Lists, released in 2012. Born Oct. 2, 1965, he graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Communications. Roberts has three children -- Jordan, Willie and Lauren -- and resides in Cornelius, N.C. You may follow him on Twitter at @TheJohnnyTV.
