McCann, Markstrom lead Canucks past Coyotes

Jared McCann scored the only goal on a power play 8:34 into the third period and Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves in the Vancouver Canucks' 1-0 win over the Arizona Coyotes at Rogers Arena on Monday night.
Seventeen seconds after Coyotes center Kyle Chipchura was whistled for cross-checking, McCann took a pass from Ben Hutton and ripped a wrist shot from the left circle past goalie Mike Smith.
Markstrom made 15 saves in the second period to keep the game scoreless.

Smith made 23 saves for the Coyotes.
