Matt Beleskey's Player Profile
Matt Beleskey #39:
Matt Beleskey is an Anaheim Ducks' veteran who has made a name for himself throughout his career with the program. Since being drafted in 2006, Beleskey has had a stellar 280 game career thus far. Although he suffered an abdominal injury that caused him to miss much of this preseason, Beleskey has bounced back by scoring seven goals in sixteen games this year. There have been many outstanding moments throughout his career, but Beleskey told Ducks Off the Ice Reporter Adam Brady that his favorite moment was when he scored his first goal at the Honda Center against Detroit.
Despite his injury, Beleskey had a busy off-season. In mid-August, he got married to his wife, Victoria, in Canada and then went on a honeymoon to Tahiti. He kept his Twitter followers up-to-date on his wedding and honeymoon this summer with a few pictures of his dog, Karl as well.
In his free time, Beleskey likes to enjoy his favorite things, like golfing. Speaking of favorites, Matt went on to tell Adam Brady about his favorite movies, which include Dumb and Dumber and the new hit film, Lawless. He also enjoys action packed dramas like Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad. Recently, Matt spent a little bit of free time in between games by visiting an Irvine elementary school to read to the students with teammate, Devante Smith-Pelly.
