Matt and Jesse wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) Matt and Jesse rallied to beat Road Agent by 2 3/4 lengths in a 9-1 upset on Wednesday in the $54,880 feature at Aqueduct.

Abel Lezcano was aboard for trainer Paulino Ortiz as the 5-year-old gelding, the early trailer in the five-horse field, got his fourth win in 34 starts. The time was 1:36.56 for the mile on the fast track.

Matt and Jesse paid $20.60, $6.40 and $3. Road Agent, the 8-5 favorite, returned $3.60 and $2.30 while Reserved Quality paid $2.30 to show.
