DALLAS -- Having the Big 12 Media Days and the Mary Kay national convention at the same hotel might seem like an odd pairing.
Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops doesn't see it that way.
While Stoops was participating in the media days, his wife Carol is a national sales director for Mary Kay. Both were working Tuesday.
"She comes down Friday and her seminar starts I think Monday through Wednesday," Bob Stoops said. "So she'll be part of this group, just in a different seminar. Very proud of her. These women do a great job."
Bob Stoops then made a sales pitch to the media on behalf of his wife.
"Get your wives into it," he said. "It would be good for them. I'm recruiting."
