About an hour before the Magic and Suns tipped off Thursday night at the Amway Center, Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry announced that All-Star point guard Steve Nash would be taking the night off to rest a nagging groin injury.
The Suns should have done themselves a favor and headed home to Arizona right then and there. Without Nash, the crux of their offense, the Suns never had a chance in a 105-89 loss.
