The WNBA-best Minnesota Lynx have signed veteran guards Seimone Augustus and Lindsay Whalen to multi-year contract extensions.

Augustus and Whalen have been key pieces in the Lynx's dominance of the WNBA over the past five seasons, reaching the WNBA Finals four times since 2011 and clinching homecourt advantage throughout the 2016 WNBA Playoffs.
