Lynx finalize 2012 roster

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Lynx announced the team's final roster Wednesday, after the WNBA squad waived guard Queralt Casas and forward Julie Wojta.
Highlighting Minnesota's 11-player roster are three Olympians -- guard/forward Seimone Augustus, forward Maya Moore, and guard Lindsay Whalen. The final roster also includes 2011 WNBA all-star Rebekkah Brunson, as well as veteran Taj McWilliams-Franklin.
Also returning from last year's squad is guard Candice Wiggins, guard/forward Monica Wright, forward Amber Harris and center Jessica Adair. The two new faces on this year's Lynx club are forward Devereaux Peters, a forward from Notre Dame, and veteran guard Erin Thorn.
The team returns nine total players from its championship-winning roster in 2011.
Minnesota opens its regular season Sunday, at home against Phoenix. Tip-off is set for 11:30 a.m., and the Lynx will receive their 2011 WNBA title rings prior to the contest.
