Legace joins FSD as college hockey analyst

FOX Sports Detroit is excited to announce the addition of former National Hockey League goaltender Manny Legace as a college hockey analyst for the 2013-14 season.
Legace’s 11-year NHL career included one Stanley Cup championship with the Detroit Red Wings. An Olympian, Legace won the silver medal with Team Canada in the 1994 Winter Olympics. He also spent time with the L.A. Kings, St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes.
“I’m happy to be joining the FOX Sports Detroit team,” Legace said. “Thanks to John Davidson, I enjoyed my broadcasting experience in St. Louis with the Blues while I was injured. I’m excited to bring my perspective as a player to these college hockey games.”
FOX Sports Detroit will broadcast 21 more college hockey games. Legace will make his on-air debut with Matt Shepard on Friday, Oct. 25 at Michigan State.
