LeBron James has refuted a national report that he had met with Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt and general manager David Griffin on Tuesday.

James took to Twitter to deny an ESPN report, which stated a Tuesday meeting was his first with Blatt.

"The report from yesterday was NOT TRUE but I'm looking forward to working with Coach Blatt and meeting Griff and guys in the front office," James tweeted.

James did admit to talking with Blatt, but said the conversation took place last week, not in a Tuesday meeting, as ESPN reported.

The movie James referred to is entitled, "Trainwreck," starring Amy Schumer. Along with James, expected cameos include recording artist Method Man, pro wrestler Jon Cena and actress Maria Tomei.

James, 29, joined the Cavs via free agency in July after four seasons and two championships with the Miami Heat. He played for the Cavs, the team that drafted him, from 2003-10. He has won four league MVP awards.

James will be re-introduced to Cavs fans at a special event Friday evening at the University of Akron's InfoCision Stadium.
