Jurco assigned to Grand Rapids for conditioning stint

DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Red Wings have assigned right wing Tomas Jurco to Grand Rapids of the AHL for conditioning.
The 22-year-old Jurco has played in only four games for the Red Wings this season. He has no goals and one assist.
He's scored 11 goals with 23 assists in 103 NHL games over the last two seasons and the start of this one.
