Josh Gordon pens open letter to Barkley, others: 'I am a good person'
Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who is reportedly facing a one-year ban from the NFL for failing another drug test, addressed his critics in an open letter published online Thursday.
Gordon's letter is addressed to former NBA superstar and now outspoken member of the media Charles Barkley, with portions of it directed toward Stephen A. Smith and Cris Carter of ESPN.
Gordon presented the letter in a tweet: "To my judge & jury, here's my testimony. My debut for @TheCauldron"

The letter refers to the reports that surfaced last week stating that Gordon tested positive for alcohol. He was subject to alcohol testing after a DWI arrest last July.
Gordon finished the season on team suspension for missing the team's final walkthrough practice before they played the Ravens.
He missed the first 10 games this past season under an NFL suspension for failing a substance abuse test.
After a breakout season in 2013 that resulted in a Pro Bowl berth, Gordon finished with just 24 catches for 303 yards and no touchdowns in five games in 2014.
