Cleveland Cavaliers forward James Jones announced his intentions to return to the Cavs this offseason on the red carpet for the first Players' Awards show.

Jones told the Northeast Ohio Media Group, "I'll be back in Cleveland for sure."

"I've made it well known last year when I told them I was coming to help change the culture and do something special," Jones told NEOMG, "I was looking to be a part of something, to build something. And so I'm still in."

The 34-year old would qualify for a veteran's minimum salary of about $1.5 million. Jones is still a free agent, coming off a one-year deal with the Cavaliers.

Last season with the Cavaliers, Jones averaged 4.4 PPG on 36.8 percent shooting with 4.8 RPG in 11.7 minutes per game.
