'Inside the Rays: Charlie Montoyo' premieres June 27 on Sun Sports
TAMPA, Fla. -- On Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m., FOX's Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will premiere an all-new episode of "Inside the Rays" upon conclusion of the Tampa Bay vs. Boston Red Sox game. Titled "Charlie Montoyo," this episode tells the story of one of the longest standing members of the Rays organization.
Charlie Montoyo joined the Rays organization in 1997 as then manager of the rookie level club in Princeton, W. Va. After 18 years managing at every level in the Rays minor league organization, he's now in the Big Leagues as Tampa Bay's third base coach.
