'Inside the Magic: Global Games' premieres Feb. 19 on FOX Sports Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The game of basketball began in Springfield, Mass. but has spread around the world. On Friday, Feb. 19 at 10:00 p.m., "Inside the Magic: Global Games" will debut on FOX Sports Florida upon conclusion of the Orlando Magic vs. Dallas Mavericks game. Magic fans are encouraged to tune in as host Dante Marchitelli and FOX Sports Florida follow the Magic on their trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and London, England, to support the NBA's efforts to further globalize the game.
"Inside the Magic: Global Games" will provide viewers with exclusive, never before seen footage of the team's international trips that took place over the course of the past five months. Highlights include an interview with Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins regarding the franchise's interest in promoting the game abroad, coverage from the NBA Cares clinics in both countries and Magic players visiting Christ the Redeemer statue outside Rio de Janeiro.
