Injuries have changed face of NL Central

As expected, the NL Central race has been a close one through two months. A bit unexpectedly, however, every team in the division other than the Cincinnati Reds has been hovering around the .500 mark for the entire season.

That has a lot to do with injuries, as big-time players like Lance Berkman, Jonathan Lucroy, and others have missed plenty of games. May was not a kind month to the division, and what happens in June could weed out some pretenders in the contending pack.

As we could expect after just two months, there are plenty of question marks. Can the Cardinals and Brewers get healthy? Can the Pirates stay in contention? Who will be buying and selling in July? Click here or on the gallery at the right for a team-by-team outlook.
