Indians-Red Sox: A Kluber June?

Indians-Red Sox: A Kluber June?

Here are some of the story lines that we'll be following during tonight's broadcast on SportsTime Ohio and on FOXSportsOhio.com.

Make sure you tune in to Indians Live at 6:30 prior to tonight's game at 7, where we'll talk about Bourn and Chisenhall leading the offense. Plus Katie Witham has an interview with Corey Kluber, and we'll break down Cody Allen's curveball.

INDIANS GOING STREAKING?: Five in a row, setting a season-high. Can the Tribe push it to six and sweep their second series in a row? Their five-game home streak is the longest home streak since they won 11 straight at Progressive Field in 2013. Perhaps we can see a repeat of last year's 10-game streak to finish the season?

WILL JUNE BE ANOTHER KLUBER MONTH?: The right-hander has been nearly un-hittable over the last month. His stats are eye-popping, including a major league leading 95 strikeouts (60 in May alone), and he's averaging more than a strikeout-an-inning when pitching at home. Kluber shut down the Sox last time he faced them, which was back in 2013.

WILL MICHAEL BOURN STAY HOT?: We've been asking this question consistently over the past week, and the answer keeps coming back as an emphatic "Yes!". The Tribe outfielder is on a roll, and is hitting over .420 during the current five-game winning streak.

WILL THE HOME DOMINANCE CONTINUE?: If you're playing the Indians, you better hope it's at your own ballpark. The Tribe is 20-11 at home and Progressive Field is becoming a nightmarish place for opponents to play. Will the trend continue tonight?

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM BRANDON WORKMAN?: It's always a challenge facing a new pitcher, and this will be Workman's first tilt against the Tribe. He got ejected in his last game for pitching behind the Ray's Evan Longoria, but claims it was due to a wet ball. Still, the pitch was five times better than 50 Cent's pitch. Then again, any pitch would be better than that.
