Indians recall Morimando from Double-A Akron, starting McAllister on Saturday
Stemming from an over 6-hour affair the night before, the Cleveland Indians made a couple of roster moves on Saturday.
Left-hander and highly touted pitching prospect Shawn Morimando has been called up to the show from the Double-A Akron RubberDucks to give Terry Francona another arm in his bullpen. This comes less than 24 hours after taxing day where he used nearly his entire relief staff.

Morimando, 23, has started in 16 games for Akron with a record of 10-3. He's recorded a 3.09 ERA and struck out 73 batters in 93 and 1/3 innings.
In order to make room for the southpaw, utility man Michael Martinez has been designated for assignment.
Due to Trevor Bauer's five inning appearance on Friday afternoon, the Indians have decided to send reliever Zach McAllister on the bump.
The right-hander hasn't started a game since April 10th last year.
