India wins toss, asks Sri Lanka to bat first

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the first Twenty20 international Wednesday. India included rookie paceman Ashok Dinda in its pace attack after Shanthakumaran Sreesanth was ruled out due to a stomach bug. Sri Lanka goes into the match without its ace spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who has been sidelined by a finger injury.
